| Hard to be sure if this film's "must-see" factor would have been as intense had Ledger not died before its release. Certainly the previews looked good, and the viral marketing campaign was interesting though not compelling.
This film was, is, and will forever be anchored by Ledger's performance as The Joker. Too bad the rest of the film doesn't match his level. Truthfully, I liked "The Dark Knight" a lot. Saw it several times in the theatres. But it most certainly has its flaws. ... Read More: |

| This was our first of many BluRay movies to purchase. Right away we were impressed. The menu alone is beautiful. Once the movie was running, we could see the difference between regular DVD and BluRay. The detail was stunning. You can see grains of sand in the desert scenes. The BD-Live features also work well. Bottom line, we would recommend this BluRay. |

| I saw this movie this week on DVD in two sessions on a friend's recommendation. I think it is an absolutely wonderful movie: ingenious, imaginative, always exciting, with a breathtaking performance from Natalie Portman, who takes her character through momentous emotional changes and is always riveting to watch. Hugo Weaving is magnificent as the silken-voiced V. John Hurt is marvellously menacing as the High Chancellor and I thought Stephen Fry's performance really moving and highly convincing. | If you are a fan of Quentin Tarantino this is a must own. I waited to purchase these films until the much anticipated Whole Bloody Affair was to come out. I realized that I might be waiting for something that will never arrive. Plus, Disney has always handled the Blu-Ray conversion extremely well, and this is absolutely no exception. | This has a lot of oddball parts to it, but overall it's very good fun and a good way of spending a quiet evening in. There's some great lines and a lot of very entertaining visuals, with some good action too. Great! |
