| Don't know what it is about this book, but it is amazing. The illustrations are repetative, the text sometimes ridiculous, ("goodnight nobody"?!) But it works magic. It simply reads like a lullaby. My children have each loved it as toddlers, and number six is proving to be no exception. (We have bought her a new copy as our old one is falling apart from being so well loved!) |

| Didn't realize this was a mini-version of the book till I received it. It's about the size of an adult's hand (fingertip to palm). Doesn't make the best gift. |

| This book was a gift from family, for our baby daughter. We started reading it to her at around 12 months. She LOVES this book. She is actually a very curious girl now at 18 months, and will grab books all evening long for me to read to her.
Your little ones will be able to identify the different animals and even the colors soon after reading this book. It has a nice pentameter, thats just right for the developing LAD. I am here to order more from this author, and I am sure ... Read More: |

| I received this book at a baby shower and didn't think much of it. However, my baby boy has favored this book since his birth. It is just the right length, so he doesn't get fussy, and he likes the voices I've made for the the hares. I cannot stress enough that he never fusses when I read it and is completely tuned into the book. I don't know why, but I'll take it. |

| This is one of the only books I remember from my childhood. Instead of your typical cutesy little kid story, you have something with real imagination and fun. It's an original story line with very unique illustrations. I know many adult artists who still love this book for its artwork.

| What else is there to say? I love it. My baby loves it! The rhythm and rhyme just lull you right to sleep, and the importance of nightly tasks become a joy rather than a task. Highly recommended! |

| I got this book for my 12 month old daughter and she absolutely loves it. She picks it up throughout the day to play with. She likes being able to turn the pages to see what the picture really is. On the zoo page we take the time to point to and name all of the animals. The book is simple and sweet and just the right length for her attention span. |
