| I don't know if I wasn't paying attention, or was just not informed. But this program doesn't work with macs even though it was used on the old apple2GS which is just a super old version of a mac. Don't get this if you have a mac! |

| My boys really enjoy this math game, however it seems pretty simple and they were able to finish the game relatively quickly. I think it is a good buy. |

| My child is having issues with phonics. We ordered this game in the hopes to give him a love for language and phonics. It worked. He is performing better on his phonics and language tests-he is now passing them. He enjoys reading, and he is actually writing stories. This has been a good purchase and the former reviews are correct. |

| I purchased this software because my kid's daycare uses Reader Rabbit. I picked this version since it was preschool to K & I've got a 3yr old & a 5yr old & I wanted something (for my first purchase of software) that they could both use. It's a two disk set with one for the preschool & the other is K. | I tried 3-4 Reader Rabbit Programs. They are hard to use. The navigation is not good. It takes significant learning effort to get used to the programs. I work in Software from 10 years. If its difficult to navigate for me, the kids definitely will not be able to navigate freely. It will not allow you to skip something. If the kids are using the same thing again and again and They want to skip the things they are bored of they are out of luck. It will not allow skip. Apart from that the program is educational. ... | My granddaughter (then 6 yrs) had the original version of Storybook Weaver and loved it. She recently asked if there is an updated version so we searched and found out there was an undated version (Storybook Weaver Deluxe). We bought it and she enjoys it even more since it has more graphics and updated features. She is now 8. This came out in 90's and works great on our XP SP2 computer. |

| The kids picked it up in no time (ages 9 & 6.) Me, I couldn't figure it out but at least they enjoyed it. However they beat it in one day. |

| Use to play when i was a kid, still fun to play. Although it was difficult to open, had to explore through many things to open the game, does not show up on my windows xp well at all. Note of advice, if your buying for a younger kid, you will have to help them open up the program to play it. |

| i'm not sure if it was just me or what, but all three computers i have tried it on, it didn't work very well. it crashed constantly. i got around it by saving my game a lot, but it was still annoying. if you look beyond the crashing, it is pretty fun, but it also installed without sound. given the fact that it is so cheap, i think it would be worth while for you to try it, but beware the potential bugs. |
