| Bought the original VHS copy in 1980. Have all but worn it out. Have been searching for another copy only to find that later versions are shorter in length. This version, with Rickey Schroeder and Alec Guiness, needs to be on DVD in the original full length. Loaned it to many friends and received the same review by all ages. |

| This is a lovely movie which I remember fondly from childhood. Once you've seen a story told by the muppets (Frog Prince, Christmas Carol etc) you are ruined for all other versions. I can only hope the powers that be see fit to release this gem on DVD so that old fans can re-live their childhoods and new fans can become enchanted. |

| Saw this when I was very young, maybe 9 or 10, and it somehow moved me in a visceral way that I simply cannot convey in words. But I never found out what it was called. With the memory of the powerful ending vaguely imprinted on my mind I vowed that I would one day find out the name of this movie. I have been clutching at straws for years trying to figure it out. Only recently did I find out, I'm now 25!
