| I'd never seen this before getting the DVD, or at least never seen the entire film. I knew all the songs already, and my husband says we saw it as a play, but if we did, a lot of stuff was cut out.
Milkman Tevye (Topol), his wife, and five (!) daughters in pre-revolutionary Russia. I remember my parents going to see this at the theater, probably back in 1971, when it was released, and listening to my mom and some of her friends swooning over Topol. | I loved this movie as a child and my 2 year old loves it too.
The animation in the middle of the movie makes it a great surprise for kids. |

| This movie is so wonderful. I loved it when it originally came out in the early 90's then redisovered it after my own father passed away. This movie should be released to DVD and for all of those who missed it I'm sad for you this movie has all the right punch; comedy, darkness, and drama. If you get the chance watch this movie you will be so glad you did. |

You will not find a better, cooler, easier to follow video for a [...] kicking workout ever. I have a case full of other videos collecting dust. Gin Miller is my go-to girl for step aerobics. |

| This is the best story ever. Anyone who has particiapated in the Christmas pageant chaos will find it reassuring that their activity is not the only one with problems.
I saw this video many years ago and hoped it was out on DVD. It is still not out. I am willing to wait but hope it is out before next year. |
