| If you're looking for a Book turned into a movie--this is it but in a very obscure fashion. This movie takes the stereotypes that Long writes about in his short novel and basically flips them around here. Here you have the American man, but it is he that is hopelessly inlove with the Asian "woman" (using that term lightly). She is the one that is full of decite and ends up betraying him. | It arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The condition was ok, not great but ok. It did appear as if it came from a video rental company which was a bit troubling. All in all it was an ok experience although I think for the condition a bit overpriced. |

| This is a story I have read many times since I was a child. I'm sure every little girl goes through that phase where she would like nothing more than to be a wild maiden living alone with the animals, and that is probably the basis of a lot of appeal. | I have been taking yoga classes for some time and have a few of Rodney Yee's tapes. He has a quiet, soothing manner and the scenery is lovely. The only problem that I have with this and some of his other videos are that sometimes when he is coaching the viewer's breathing, he neglects to follow through. |

| The title of the book and the film never seemed to appeal to me. When Amazon had this as a Gold Box Deal I thought 1,500 reviews couldn't be wrong.
WOW, I love it. Mr. Darcy such a character. You cannot stand his attitude when you first meet him but you love his looks. I knew Miss Elizabeth loved and hated him right from the the start. | The word classic is used way too often, especially when it comes to films and books. However "Overboard" is as close to a modern-day classic as any movie has ever gotten. It's like all the suns were aligned to make the perfect movie. It has a great script, an excellent director (Garry Marshall) and some of the best performers in the business. That's why it's almost impossible to believe that "Overboard" was a huge bomb, both commercially and critically when it came out in early 1988.
