VHS : Pearl (The Miniseries)
Yes this is just a big soap opera, and most of the stories are just filler to set up the attack, but there is a strong feeling of a throw back to films of bygone days here that makes me like this even though i know it stinks. The attack last longer in this than it did in real life, and they keep leaping from it to some more soap opera filler that get very annoying after a while. The cast is ok but with all the corny line they have it's not really fair to say they are not good , they do what they can. ... Read More:

Jane Fonda is unforgettable as a resourceful, unassuming, uniquely gifted, remarkably loyal, and courageous country woman. Her husband, a struggling Appalachian sharecropper, finds a job in the big city of Detroit in the early twentieth century. Believing he has found a better life for his family, he sends for them. They uproot themselves from their familiar rural homeland, and join him in a crowded, dehumanizing, housing development set up for factory workers. Soon the family, and the main character (The Dollmaker) ... Read More:

I found this movie to be entertaining, but there were several inaccuaracies(although much better than the Patriot).

1. The Hessians were not drunk. It is a myth.

2. I doubt Washington would have used such language, it seems very, very unlike him.

3. No ice in the river, and they attaced in a nor easter, I did not see any snow.

4. Henry Knox is poorly portrayed and it was he who had overall command of the crossing, not Glover.

5.. There were 18 cannon in the battle ... Read More:

When I saw this movie I was shocked of how creepy it was. I'd have to say the creepest part was when the girls sneaks into the bathroom and sees her Dad cut open his skin and green blood came out, plant blood, then he makes his kids eat it! So this movie taught me a lesson... not to touch, look at, or go near a plant. YOU HAVE YO SEE THIS FILM!!!

It could have been more realistic, but the special effects were good, the andalite ship looked cool, the music fit the movie, & it was darmatic ( I know, I spelled it wrong! sorry.) Over all it was okay, but they should have followed the books better. Read the books first, but the movie is worth watching. It has really good graficis. Howenver, they need to make everything ( espeillay the andalites) more realistic. And they seriously need to take out that part where Visser 3 pretends to be an adalite and goes, "Andalite cousin....." ... Read More:
