| First, let me say I love the series, even though season 4 left a bunch of us saying "WTF was that?" allot. It was still better than most everything else out there.
My issue is with the DVD's themselves. I had numerous problems with skipping, stopping and general bad play issue with this season of DVD's. | I ordered the video late on a Saturday night and it was here Monday by 3:00pm. I wasn't expecting it that fast. I had bought the newer version of Brian's song but it just didn't have the same feel that the James Caan, Billy Dee Williams version does. When I watch this one, I feel like I really am watching Gayle Sayers and Brian Piccolo. I was really surprised that it was in my hands within 24 hours. WOW |

| The show is okay, but has no comparison to the book series. The books are more graphic, and funnier. Also, They twist the story around. Like in the reaction. Rachel is the one who has the allergec reaction, not cassie. The actors can't act either. The people who played Jake, Tobias,and Cassie are the only people that I have seen on other T.V. shows. |

| I have this movie on VHS, and I love it!! I watch it every year at Christmas time. I was not born till 1958, but I love this time era this movie is set in. If you have not had the privilege of seeing this movie, do not hesitate to purchase this to add to your movie library in your home. |

| I naturally agree with the previous reviews of this splendid Documentary which encapsulates the dramatic distinct Seasons in that part of Alaska.The families featured on this film certainly led active lives considering the harsh extremes of the Seasons. I travelled up to the Northern Coastal plain in the Brooks Range a few years ago, and was privileged to be in the company of , Roger The Bush Pilot , it was great travelling with a person so well versed on the country, and Wildlife of Alaska. I give this film my high recommendation. |
