| The greatest compliment to this series is that it has created a torrent of discussion and the debates are still raging. I enjoy this series so much, I watch it nearly every year.

| Filmed in 1975, "Lifeguard" relays the story of an aging L.A. lifeguard (Sam Elliott) during the summer of '75. He suffers an early mid-life crisis when his friends and family continually reveal their disappoval of his career choice. This is heightened when he attends his 15-year high school reunion where he reunites with a recently-divorced ex-flame (Anne Archer). To complicate matters Elliot runs into a cute underage teen on the beach (Kathleen Quinlin) who makes him feel like an Adonis.

| My kid 2 and half years old loves Barney so I thought about buying him this DVD, and to my expectations it was a another great barney DVD, I got him before the movie Barney'd adventures, and he's memorising every single word in both movies. Just get this one it won't fail you!! |

| Recently having watched this episode for the first time in almost nine years, I was blown away with how well it held up. (The rotten dream sequence towards the end doesn't count, considering the low budget for this show, and can be forgiven.) To me, it embodies everything that was great about Patrick Stewart's classically influenced TNG acting chops, and the quality and sensibilities that made/make Star Trek so great. | What a wonderful piece of work. I love to watch and rewatch this movie. It really has a powerful message about having people in our lives who may not be able to function like everyone else, but that is exactly why they are so loveable. You can learn a lot from them if you listen and watch. Mr. Erman really got the point across. The cast was incredible. |

| If you are sick of sanitised period peices then this is a fine example. The lighting is has a very natural quality, there's dirt and it is an honest attempt at Jane Austens book. Well done. |
