| I started doing the "Firm Basics" again along Leslie Sansone after not exercising regularly for a while. This series teaches proper form, and is a good intro to the "The Firm". While it is probably too easy for high-intermediate and advanced exercisers, it is definitely great for beginners. I plan to advance further with other "Firm" workouts. I feel they offer the best all-around fitness program and you can grow with it. I wish this series was offered on DVD. |

| I did this video ten years ago also and it is awesome! No exaggeration here - I saw definition in my abs within TWO WEEKS. Mind you I was 23 at the time and I while my abs were not "of steel", they werent flopping over my belt either. STILL, this video works. Im going to buy it again and see what happens a decade later! Classics are classics for a reason - they work. Tamilee Webb must be about fifty years old by now and she's still working it out. |

| If there is a great movie to be made about Jack Kerouac, and Neal and Carolyn Cassidy, this aint it. "Suggested" by Carolyn's memoirs, writer/director John Byrum's film degenerates into yet another adulterous husband saga. The idea that Carolyn has is that Neal is the muse for Kerouac's writing but since Jack knew Neal and had written On The Road before they met her, Carolyn's insight appears to be limited to the time Neal married her and they lived miserably in suburbia until Jack joined them for a menage a trois. | This sad but powerful video is a must-have for any English or History teacher dealing with the Holocaust. I *do* agree with many Holocaust survivors who urge teachers to NOT begin their units with such a film, but to use it as a tool that complements a balanced discussion of this horrific time period. I begin my unit with a study of poems from the book, "I Never Saw Another Butterfly," recommended by another teacher, and then proceed to this video. Its also great for teaching basic reading skills and getting familiar with words.
