| This version of the Nutcracker is completely faithful to Hoffman's original story, with a real storyline children can relate to. The set design, by Maurice Sendak, is incredible, and the dancing is enchanting for all ages. If you only watch one version of the Nutcracker, this is the version to watch. And please, somebody - this production needs to be put onto DVD! |

Shere Khan does attack him but (spoiler warning)they fight him and Mowgli meets a beautiful girl from the village who lures him to the village. |

| I remember watching this movie as a kid. It really has memorable songs, and cute aspects that make an otherwise violent subject (prohibition-era gangsters) humorous. It was cool finding a clean DVD. |

| The CD was as advertised. The price was terrific and with free delivery it beats going shopping at a retail store. Meet Me In St.Louis is a classic, great family film and should be shown in every grade school. |

| The only problem I have with this DVD of "My Fair Lady" is that it is in letter-box format & it's too scrunched down for me to read the lips. Good thing I know the movie by heart PLUS it has "closed captioning". Other than that, my friend & I completely enjoyed the movie. It arrived SO QUICKLY & the price was SO affordable! I'll do all my Christmas shopping at Amazon! |

| Liza Minelli is such a brilliantly expressive actor and dancer, that she can overcome any tired cliche that's thrown at her (starting with the title of this film), and this one has cliches that weren't even cliches in 1991. She's so great in every scene that the viewer forgets that the talents of Andrea Martin, for example, are wasted. Wasted. Shelley Winters gets a slightly better chance to show her skills, as the wizened, retired theatre exponent who nonetheless plays piano part-time for the troupe, almost *defiantly* lousy. ... | Have no idea when I last saw this film, but decided to watch it before my first trip to Rome. It is a delight and Lanza is in great form. The songs were wonderful and the scenery beautiful creating a very enjoyable film. I'll be very disappointed if someone doesn't break out in song during my visit!! |
