I have always loved this play and had recently seen it done in a local theater. I took my sister and they did a great job. My mom wanted this for her birthday and when we watched it together I had forgotten just how amazing the actors are. Bernadette Peters is incredible! This is a fantastic play and I would recommend this cast to anyone!!

A must see for anyone who was ever in a "ROCK" band and or who has been associated with bands for more than a couple of years!!!

This is "Behind The Music" before VH1 and MTV!!! Every facet of every scene was true of someone you may have known, which makes it even more hilarious as all the character's, confrontations, trial's and tribulation's all come together at once... here and now so to speak.

This movie is a highlight reel!!! Too real... too funny ...too close to home!!!

VHS : Footloose
After hearing that "Footloose" was being remade (just in time for its 25th anniversary; god I feel old) with Zac Effron of "High School Musical" fame in the lead role made famous by Kevin Bacon, I couldn't resist revisiting a movie that was a huge a part of my own high school years. No doubt about it, "Footloose" is a film that screams EIGHTIES, defining its era in the same way that "Saturday Night Fever" defined the disco days of the Seventies (and perhaps the way that the HSM films will be seen to define this ... Immensely enjoyable. Kaye plays Professor Hobart Frisbee, one of seven monastic intellectuals who reside at the American division of the Totten Foundation. Frisbee meets a pair of hip window washers who tell him all about jazz, jive and boogie woogie. Beautiful Virginia Mayo is Honey Swanson, a singer hiding out from her gangster boyfriend Steve Cochran (she's also trying to keep away from the DA who wants to testify against Cochran) In the original, Barbara Stanwyck played a stripper, who taught the boys the ropes ... VHS : Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
It's hard to believe anyone could build a feature-length story on a song and come up with something this good. But writer Romeo Mueller and producers Jules Bass and Arthur Rankin, Jr. did just that.

This story of misfits finding their rightful place in the world is just the Christmas tale solitary children the world over need to hear. Its beautiful and subversive message feels all the more heartfelt because we receive it through the delicately hand-wrought images of stop-motion animation. There's something ... Read More:
