| If you feel silly watching Shirley Temple films without a child, watch this one. Jack Haley and the wonderful and sexy Alice Faye are superb. There's a dark aspect with one character stalking Shirley (rather unsettling). Everyone is terrific in the film and I believe it to be Shirley Temple's best movie. I agree with one reviewer about the cruel dispatching of the nurse Collins. It was either the result of clumsy writing or editing. Otherwise this is one enjoyable, bouncy film. |

| This is June Haver movie and she is good, but Ray Bolger (Wizard of OZ) stole the show. Gordon Macrae was hansome and good but not in the movie for long. The story is about Marilyn Miller famous Broadway actress. I give it 3 stars. Entertaing. |

| George Strait is not really a big box office draw and not really a "great actor" but it was a good film, and George did pretty good for being his first movie, at least that I was aware of. The music was really nice. I went out and bought both the CD and DVD. The story line was pretty good but not an action pack film. If you really love George Strait you'll really love this movie !!

| This is a fabulous romp...the sets ! the fashions ! Lana Turner's sculpted hair ! but most of all, the refreshing innocence of it. Lana Turner is simply marvelous here, and Ricardo Montalban, looking hunk-o-rama good, is even better. | If you love Jimmy Stewart, this is the movie for you. Jimmy Stewart portrayed Glenn Miller with style and grace. Love it!
The scenes with the service men is very special to my family as my father was in this film and can be clearly seen. When this movie was on TV when I was growing up, we always watched it no matter the time of day. Now we can watch it over and over and pause it to get a better look. |
