| Now that ive seen this movie in color, im glad Louis b Mayer was cheap and
made all the previous Jeanette and Nelson movie in black and white. Maybe one day they will be collorized and i will get both versions. Sweethearts plays almost like the real life of this couple. | I saw the musical on Broadway several years ago, and I have to say that the film does an excellent job of capturing the engery of a live performance. The cast is superb, the music is still fresh, the jokes are still funny, and the layers of reality are done exttremely well. I recently viewed this and Joseph: King of Dreams back-to-back, and there is no doubt that this is the far better retelling of the story.

| Broadway was just a string of Variety shows until "South Pacific". Everything changed after that. This DVD is a wonderful experience. |

| Coal Miner's Daughter - 25th Anniversary Edition
Great movie for family night. Cissy Spacek did a great job portraying Loretta Lynn and kept me entertained the whole time. Anyone who loves music should see this movie and would know how truly tough it is to break into the music business; this movie definately shows what it takes to make it famous. | This is just a fun movie. Luciano is the only reason I bought it.
And he comes through in great form. But I fell in love with the nuns. Great for a relaxing sunny Sunday afternoon. The infidelity was disturbing and I think it could have been done much better. |

| From Little Caesar to George M. Cohan. Winning an Academy Award for Best Actor, Cagney is wonderful. One of the best American movies ever made. Great for family viewing, including young children. And for young children, don't forget to let them see Errol Flynn in Robin Hood. |

| This is my all time favorite movie. I recently purchased it for the younger generation and it was a hit with them as well. This movie transcends time and ages. Very entertaining with a positive message. Two thumbs up! |
