| I throughly enjoyed this movie and would recommend it to any one who enjoys good music. The plot was entertaining and you were hoping that his wife would win out in the end. A good way to spend a couple of hours. |

| This video needs to transfered to DVD and be digitally remastered and stereo sound mixed. After buying it I transfered it to DVD so I could play it and you cannot imagine how disappointed I was at how bad it sounded! This was the concert of a life time! Why would they sell it in such a crappy form? I for one would pay a pretty good price for a DVD version with stereo audio. |

| This video was issued in 1986, right after their theatre of pain album was put out, and let me tell you, it's crue in their prime. Vince, Nikki, Tommy, and Mick are 80's metal life to the extreme, driving Coravettes, riding in limo's with spa's, and of course Girls Girls Girls.

| I was in this original production taped in Green Bay, Wisconsin. I am a former member of the Green Bay Girl Choir who is the featured choir in this production. It was an amazing experience to work on this type of production as a 14 year old. Peter Buffet was world class and Robert Mirabal was so kind to us and helped us all be comfortable while filming. | This is my all time favorite movie. I recently purchased it for the younger generation and it was a hit with them as well. This movie transcends time and ages. Very entertaining with a positive message. Two thumbs up! |

| Since this was filmed on the Ft Belknap Reservation, it has many happy memories attached to it. My family farm wasn't too far away from the filming location. So it's nice to watch this with my parents. Even the gym where John played in...that was the very same HS that my Dad graduated in. So the old west feel is very much there when I see this. It's just worth every dime you invest in it. I also love the campfire and cabin atmosphere, because that is what some Christmas settings are like in Montana. | As a Hollywood biopic this is only average. Too much of the film is devoted to Gershwin's supposed romantic involvement with two women, who are both entirely fictional. Far more important in reality was his friendship with Oscar Levant, who was not only the composer's best friend but also after his death was widely recognized as the most authoritative interpreter of his major works for piano, Rhapsody in Blue and Concerto in F.
