| This movie is a great deal of fun for kids and adults -- and I particularly enjoyed seeing Julie Andrews doing physical comedy. I'd love to see her do more of it! I suspect she was receiving cancer treatments for her throat during the weeks of filming since she has more weight on than usual and her voice is somewhat raspy. | Mother and Jimmy used to watch the Gaither Homecomings on regular cable every Saturday evening. Then the broadcast only became available on digital cable, which we do not have. They missed the hour so much I decided to buy a "few" Gaither DVDs that they could play and replay during that Saturday hour. What a special treat, to have Morningside....an old man died. That song that is rarely included in any concert/video of Neil Diamond. The music plays to scenes of older gentlemen and Neil on the streets in Paris. Morningside is so beautiful, and the best version ever of Morningside is a live one on this double CD Greatest Hits. | Years ago, in the 80's and 90's, I loved dancing and I invented dance moves on my own. 20+ years later I don't do that anymore and my body shows. I still "got rhythm". I dug out this video, afraid I couldn't keep up. I was able to keep up with most on the first try and when I couldn't, there are visual reminders to keep moving at their pace. | This is a must for the Julie Andrews fan. Watching Julie in concert, singing some of her most favorite songs, is truly 60 minutes of true entertainment. Julie really gives it her all in this concert. She talks to the audience a bit about her upbringing and experience in the English music halls at the end of that era. She is very warm and humble in her presentation. Her choice of songs is delectable and her singing is pure and clear as a silver bell.

| This Nutcracker is by and for Adults. Other reviewers have ably noted the facts about what choices were made by the choreographer. Whether you like or dislike those choices is an individual preference. I liked the choices and enjoyed the opportunity to focus on the superb dancing without distractions. Maximova and Vasiliev dance wonderfully. Some of the other dancers are out-of-sync at times but it didn't bother me much. What I look for is an overall spontaneity which I did find in this performance.

| For years I searched for this movie! At last I've found it!
I remember watching it every Halloween on the Disney Channel when I was a child (in the eighties). My sister and I just adored it but then Disney stopped airing it sometime in the nineties. Years later I would recall how funny it was but had no idea what it was called. I used to ask friends if they remembered a Halloween movie in which Dracula saved Halloween by persuading a witch to fly over the moon, but I just got a lot of weird stares. | How can you call this "Very Merry Christmas" and not have that song on here? Lynn Gibson must have imagined "From all of us to all of you" being on this DVD, or she didn't actually watch it before reviewing, because that song is not on the DVD. The description also makes it sound like it has the classic Disney Christmas cartoons on here, but in reality there are only short clips of the cartoons from Jiminy Cricket's Christmas special (apparently not available on DVD) set to newly-sung Christmas songs. | I have several DVD's by Daniel O'Donnell. This is by far the best. There is a wide variety of types of music and Daniel's personality shines the entire show. It is also one of the funniest performances I have seen by this performer. I highly recommend this DVD to everyone who loves this type of music. |
