| I wish I would have read the reviews on this video before I purchased it. If your wanting to see the bands perform this is a big disappointment. If you love Sonic Youth you'll probably like it and don't get me wrong there are bits of it that are funny but it's pretty much the lead singer talking and acting stupid through the whole thing. | Where's Cecil Beaton when you need him. When you have the greatest singers of the last half of the 20th century, Nilsson and Corelli, you don't need all this excess! The Met has toned this production down shortly after this broadcast. This production is so busy I hardly even noticed the singing. You'll find every thing you need on the stage but a basket ball court. |

| My 17 year old daughter fell in love with this movie when she was 7. She would watch it everyday when she was younger. This is an uplifting movie about friendship & the lengths people, in this case animals, will go to for their friends. It is a fun, happy movie for all ages that you will enjoy watching time & time again.
I recommend it for everyone! |

| For Hollywood a fairly decent biopic at least better than Night and Day treatment of Cole Porter. It has the great Rodgers and Hart tunes - at least some of them and if they couldn't deal with Laurenz Hart I'm not sure they'd be ready even today. The acting was good the songs terrific, I'd reccomend for any lover of Richard Rodgers musicals. |

| That Jimmy is slow and uninterested in releasing this on DVD (as well as Tales from Margaritaville) says a lot about how little he cares about his fans. In fact, most of his earlier albums greatly need remastering, and although he earns millions of dollars a year, he doesn't bother to do anything about this. It's a shame that most fans don't see this, and Jimmy doesn't either. Blind worship?
