| It has been a while since I have seen this film and I am little surprised that it seems to be out of print. I recommend this to anyone who wants to see a story of faith in action in the face of overwhelming odds. |

| I found this movie to be entertaining, but there were several inaccuaracies(although much better than the Patriot).
1. The Hessians were not drunk. It is a myth. 2. I doubt Washington would have used such language, it seems very, very unlike him. 3. No ice in the river, and they attaced in a nor easter, I did not see any snow. 4. Henry Knox is poorly portrayed and it was he who had overall command of the crossing, not Glover. 5.. | In the mid-70's James Garner & Louis Gossett teamed up in two memorable episodes of "The Rockford Files". | This movie shows the first ever successful use of a true submarine in naval combat. Human history (for the literally the entire planet) was changed thereby. The one small drawback of this work may be that the truly profound implications of submarine warfare are not given nearly enough emphasis. | I just could not believe after all these years, a DVD of Goodbye Mr. Chips is going to be released. Ever since i watched the movie back in 1969 in Hong Kong, the movie and the songs were in my minds always. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to attend a boarding school two years later and experienced the life of boarding school. The two songs of "You and I" and "Walk through the world with me" are just pure magic and i wish the music producers could give much more credits to these two songs. | This WWII political drama starring Jimmy Stewart and Margaret Sullavan, along with very young Robert Stack, Dan Dailey, Robert Young and of course, the Wizard of Oz, Frank Morgan, who is fabulous in this dramatic role, has been overlooked by the wizards of Hollywood.
