| First off, Amazon should separate the reviews for the 3-D DVD release and the standard version. They are not the same product. I am extremely disappointed that Robert Zemeckis allowed this so called 3-D version to ever reach the shelves. IT IS UNWATCHABLE. I feel like I was ripped off. Didn't anyone do quality control? | I've loved this movie since I was very young and was so happy when I could buy it on DVD for such a cheap price! I love the music and the story but what I loved about this version is the reunion of all of the actors and actress' still around in 2005! Julie Andrews, Christopher Plummer, Charmain Carr, Nicholas Hammond, Heather Menzies, Duane Chase, Angela Cartwright, Debbie Turner and Kym Karath.
They all looked so happy to be with each other again and they made it look like they were the Von Trapp family again! ... Read More: |

| I don't know what all the fuss is about! I am not a politically correct person. I am a grandmother trying to show my grandsons what wonderful songs came out of such great movies produced by Disney. All I know is that Disney should re-release such awsome movies so that future generations can admire and enjoy what they're parents grew up with. | I was five years old when this program was shown live on television in 1955 and I can remember watching it. From then on I have loved all things "Peter Pan." I was despairing of ever finding this movie, so I was so grateful to discover it for sale on Amazon.com. I now nostalgically watch this movie with my six grandchildren and we all delight in "clapping to save Tinkerbell"! A wonderful, wonderful film!!! |

| This used to be on television about a hundred times a year until somebody realized that it diminished its value. Now rarely on tv, this dvd is an entertaining, heart-warming story. It only takes a viewing of this movie spectacular to put me right in the mood for Christmas. James Stewart plays George Bailey who has led his entire life giving of himself to help others when a banking error by his uncle could end it all for poor George.

| I have all of Barbra Streisand movies on Dvd except for this one. This is one of the biggest mysteries. It probably is Barbra's best film ever and it is still not out on Dvd. What are they waiting for? I wish someone knew the answer to this question. |
