| I grew up in the 70's and 80's watching School House Rock. My favorites have always been "Interjection," "Lolly Lolly Get Your Adverbs Here," "Unpack Your Adjectives." Today, I teach College Prep Writing at a community college, and I introduce my students to the parts of speech with this video. And when I do, I always hear the comments from the back of the room, "Oh my God, she's even singing along." These songs work wonders even for adults. | I loved this movie from the moment I first came upon it. The plot is excellent and keeps you deep into the story wondering what will happen next. The actors are marvelous, each in his/her own way, very natural - in fact it reminds me of the old Jimmy Stewart movies that were so heart-warming, but this one is contemporary with modern themes. | he only thing that I don't like about these Disney DVDs is that they're all SO expensive!!!
Some new DVDs are 15 bucks, but the Disney ones are always 19 bucks +. I don't understand it. Can't a kid buy a Disney DVD for 15 or so bucks anymore? Guess that answer is NO. | I really don't understand the brass at Disney...they have several gems in their vault (namely this Christmas special and the Halloween Treat special) and they are only offering them on VHS? I urge them to dust off the cobwebs on these amazing cartoons and transfer them to DVD so the true fans can enjoy them properly. I want my kids someday to be able to appreciate these classic Disney cartoons as much as I did growing up. I believe they could make a ton of money on this, therefore I wonder why the hesitation? |

| collectible queen removed my money for this purchase over a month ago, but never sent my movie. I sent her an email the day after the last possible arrival date, and never got a reply. When I contacted amazon, I was told I had to wait even longer to file a claim. The email even implied that I was somehow at fault because I didn't look at her reviews. | This wonderful family values oriented film really isn't a Christmas story (but yes, inbedded in the plotline is, of course, the "Christmas Box"). Without once again retelling the story (other reviewers have done that nicely), I'll just add my take . . .
