| Bought the original VHS copy in 1980. Have all but worn it out. Have been searching for another copy only to find that later versions are shorter in length. This version, with Rickey Schroeder and Alec Guiness, needs to be on DVD in the original full length. Loaned it to many friends and received the same review by all ages. |

| This is a lovely movie which I remember fondly from childhood. Once you've seen a story told by the muppets (Frog Prince, Christmas Carol etc) you are ruined for all other versions. I can only hope the powers that be see fit to release this gem on DVD so that old fans can re-live their childhoods and new fans can become enchanted. |

| It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown is, for me, one of those great holiday cartoons that I don't want to miss when it's shown on ABC. With the busy schedule that we all have, it's impossible to plan my life around the TV schedule (as I don't have Tivo) so it's good to have these kind of classics in my collection.
Everything from the music of Vince Guaraldi to the happiness in Snoopy's laugh this is a great film be you 7 or 70. |

| VHS tape exactly as advertised & in perfect condition. I wish it were available on DVD. This is a great story. I would love to see someone remake this with current animation. |

| I have been watching it since I was nine years old and I find some parts in this cartoon scary,like the ragman and the two-headed queen morphia,it took me a few months to over that one.I still have that tape my mom recorded for us.But it's not all that bad.Well,you know as they say,seeing is believing.I like to see this one on DVD also just like so many other classic anime have been put on DVD. |

| I first saw this film back in the 70's on the big scrren...and never forgot it. It's one of the most wonderful Christmas movies. This film captures the spirit of the original Dickens story, adding the zest of beautiful, gritty London sets, delightful music (why oh why has a CD never been released?) and wonderful performances from the actors. I looked in vain for it to play on television and was thrilled when it came out on DVD. Now it's part of my annual holiday watching and I share it with more people each year. I suggest ... | I think this movie was heart wrenching just because I think the child wanted so badly to be with his mom and dad but unfortunately it just couldn't be that way. I can't give the end of the film away but I'll tell you it is very bitter sweet. A nice clean family movie, worth buying, worth watching. |

| collectible queen removed my money for this purchase over a month ago, but never sent my movie. I sent her an email the day after the last possible arrival date, and never got a reply. When I contacted amazon, I was told I had to wait even longer to file a claim. The email even implied that I was somehow at fault because I didn't look at her reviews. When I did, I saw that she has done this to several other people. I don't understand why amazon continues to allow her to rip off their customers. I will probably never order from amazon again. |
