| This is such an emotional movie. I watched the last 15 minutes of the film on demand and i didnt think that such a older film could make me cry.
I havent seen the whole film and i was hoping i could get it on DVD :( Since there is no such thing as VHS anymore, im hoping they'll make the DVD of the film soon. |

| The Midnight Hour is an old somewhat funny horror movie that is just fun to watch. It probably would not interest the younger folks who are into the ultra high tech special effects movies of today but it does help some of us old timers revisit a time when things seemed to be a little better. The movie is a bit over priced but public domain copies are available using internet searchs. |

| I've previously owned the Lynch version on DVD and the epic, three hour TV version that was shown on the Sci-Fi channel on a worn-out VHS tape. When this new extended edition dvd was released I jumped at the chance to get it. The extended version gives you much more detail and insight into the characters than the Lynch cut. While I find that the Lynch cut is enjoyable in it's own right I prefer the completeness of the extended edition. The shorter version just seems too rushed with too many gaps. |

| I JUST WATCHED "THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN" FOR THE FIRST TIME (73 YEARS AFTER ITS MAKING). WHILE MOVIE MAKING HAS OBVIOUSLY TRAVELED LIGHT YEARS FROM THE TECHNIQUES USED IS THIS FILM, IT IS STILL A TRUE CLASSIC IN HORROR FILMDOM.
ASIDE FROM JUST A FEW OUT OF FOCUS SHOTS LEFT IN THE FILM, SUCH AS THE TOUCHING OF HANDS IN THE "REBUFFED" SCENE, THIS IS STILL A CREEPY AND RATHER SCARY FILM THAT IS TRULY TIMELESS. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO SEE A LITTLE MORE OF THE BRIDE..BUT MAYBE THE BEST WAS TRULY ... Read More: |

| AWESOME collector for the generation who grew up with the Muppets, no doubt.... However, this movie may need to be carefully reviewed by parents before young children watch it.
I was born in 1979, very young when The Dark Crystal was big. My mother watched EVERYTHING before she let me view any movie or TV show to understand the point that was trying to be made and whether she felt the subject matter was appropriate for me. | Monster Squad and other comical, horror films are out on DVD. It took 20 years for Monster Squad. How about digitally remaster in DVD for this little Gem. Almost slapstick comedy, but so much fun to watch, but not on schratchy VHS. Please bring this one out of the vaults. |
