| I purchased this video quite cheaply (ex-rental), thinking that the cover looked quite nice. And it was nice, if you can't see very well, but the movie is trash. I can handle B-grade, I sometimes even enjoy a good B romp (ie. 'The Driller Killer' is a classic example of how entertaining the genre can be), but this was just bland bland bland. | It figures. Something like this was bound to happen to me. After viewing all the reveiws off amazon, I was just a bit curious of The Birds II. It sounded exciting, but compared to everyone else's opinion, I seriously didn't think much of it. Somehow I predicted once I bought it, I would make a regret, but no. I actually liked it. | Okay this is kind of a cute kids movie that some adults will enjoy as well. Granted the miniature dinosaurs aren't up to Ray Harryhausen standards, but then it is still overall a lighthearted movie that most kids will enjoy. When some eggs are taken from a South American temple the curse seems to fall on the bad guys stealing them rather than the kids trying to protect them from commercialism. This one is not out on DVD yet so if you don't have access the the VHS you have to try and catch it on TV. |

| I finally ignored many of the reviews and got tired of waiting for whatever Blu-ray version that may one day exist and bought the DVD and to say; the music is excellent and also nothing at all wrong with the DVD quality. Sure not 1080p quality but fairly good for DVD.
So much so I can now say I proudly own all of the 6 seasons of the TV series and all of the movies. The original Highlander movie finally convinced me to finish off the collection and to have all of them. Great to see the original ... Read More: |

| What a great movie! Touching and caring. This is one of the cutest and touching movies I have seen for a long time - it is old but very good for children. The little dinosaurs and the little boy who befriends them is an excellent lesson for our youth today. A lesson also for parents to put their children before their careers. We need more of this type of movie made. I rate it very good!!! |

| I think that this was weird that this was a Paramount movie and the tag line said Dimension Diversion On Miramax Films. This was 1993 movie, DVD Release 1993 94 minutes long ( very rare ). Region 2 didn't have near good effects. Micahs Transformation wasn't on R.2, when Micah gets hit by eletric bolt he screams and on R.2 he doesn't, then his voice gets real deep at the end not on R.2, then when the face appears on Micah his face changes shape before the devil appears. | Saw this movie when it first came out ages ago and it always stuck in my mind. I confess that a couple of the main resons it stayed with me was because of the stunning images of the Egyptian countryside and monuments, the equally stunningly gorgeous Frank Langella, and finally, it was a good story about black market buying of ancient artifacts. | For such a distinguished actor, James Earl Jones has made some really forgettable movies, and I would count Grim Prairie Tales among them. This 1990 anthology piece seems to have garnered decent reviews, but I personally can't see how this movie could impress anyone. Just because it's different - a horror/Western anthology which eschews the standard formula of "it is the story, not he who tells it" (i.e., the two storytellers are more interesting than the stories they tell) - doesn't mean it's very good.
