| 3 stars just because it's missing so much content. However, I did manage to get the entire series and burn it to a dvd so, that's at least a plus. But this VHS is missing a lot of content. Hopefully MTV releases an official DVD of The Maxx. Until then I've got a copy : ) |

| I hope you will re-view this Fab Sci-Fi Film of the Fifties. The message it contains is a good one, not only in our dealings with other worlds, but in dealing with our own world. It is what happens when people try to "kill the messanger," or when mob mentality wipes out the most innocent and the mob becomes the very thing the mob is trying to eradicate. | I've watched my video copy of this movie twice. Enjoyed it both times. Plot may be kind of crazy, but so what? It's still a fun movie. The plot has been described successfully by another reviewer, so I'll not waste time describing it again.

| Well, I have to kick myself in the butt.. The Stepfather series is perhaps the best slasher series since the original psycho. Although pt 2 and 3 had been released on dvd, I hesitated on purchaseing them due to hoping the 1st movie would be released, which it never has. Now that I have waited, it looks like pt 2 and 3 are soon to be no longer avaliable on dvd... Does this mean that there will be a boxed set released with pt 1, 2, and 3 together? God I hope so. | I have a good copy of this movie on VHS and this was an excellent horror genre movie. With all the stars in this movie, I don't see why they don't release it on DVD. This is your classic Good vs. Evil flick with a twist. There are actually two evils in this one. If you like classic horror and you haven't seen this one, you're in for a treat.
