| Before there was Freddy Vs Jason there was Frankenstein Meets The Wolf Man. I suppose it was only fitting this would happen sooner or later seeing as Universal was behind the Monster movies so why not take advantage of it? This was the first of the crossover movies and quite possibly the best although this movie is far from perfect and does have its fair share of flaws.

| I saw this in the theater in '75 and I've never forgotten it. An excellent reincarnation movie that feels very realistic!! Michael Sarrazin is a veteran actor but this is the film I remember him from the most (along with "Gumball Rally"! - I can't believe it's not yet on DVD. |

| This is a truly scary movie, in the old fashioned sense. That is to say, it makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up without the gut-wrenching gore that seems to permeate the newer installments of the horror genre.
George C. Scott and then-wife Trish Van Devere both do credit to their roles and Vancouver does a great job in its role of Seattle as well. Loved this movie and plan to watch it every Hallowe'en. |
