This is a really great comedy that many will identify with. Actually there was another version of this on Showtime back in 1980 or 1981 staring scott baio and Danny Aiello which was far superior, but it is not available anywhere that I can find. If anyone has it let me know...

Its sad to see hollywood talent reduced to making pc, vile and immoral films such as this. This is just another film trying to show normalcy where none exists. When will hollywood realise no on wants to see crap like this? America is tired of the pc immoral trying to push there immorality around.Skip this movie if you have morals and intelligence

Liz Taylor nearly kissed off her stunning WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF? comeback with an almost unbroken string of howl fests -- and this is one of the best of the worst. WIldly painted and bursting out of '60s psychedelic frocks in her a-go-go gone-amok phase, Taylor plays the sadistic, horny, wealthy, foul-mouthed wife of masochistic, horny, wealthy, foul-mouthed London architect Michael Caine.

The action starts when Caine, at a party, flashes his eyes at achingly sensitive boutique ... Read More:

"Coming Out Under Fire", a short but reflective documentary based on a book of the same name by the late Allan Berube, gives heed to what is still one of the most egregious governmental policies in existence today....."Don't Ask, Don't Tell". The film, where surviving members of the military discuss their service during the Second World War, is at times empathetic but often maddening. The final exchange between Senator John Warner and Colonel Margarethe Cammermeyer regarding the implementation of this policy ends the ... Read More:

I'm a major River Phoenix fan. He was the finest actor of my generation - simple as that. He had that rare ability to make you feel...in every film he did. IMO, this is some of his greatest work. You can almost touch his vunerability - that's how powerful it is. You forget your watching River...he totally becomes his character Mike. And of all the Keanu Reeves movies I've seen, I thought he did some of his best acting here. He and River were a great team. They had done a film before this together and their deep affection for ... You get to see a butch run around in a bra the whole time. When you're in college and you get a coed to go down on you, you do get desensitized. As a horror film it fails, as an exercise in high camp it's not campy is it goes along, as a porn it works but as a musical it's a masterpiece. This blows away Cats, Wizard of Oz, Singing in the Rain, you name it. The best musical ever made, hands down no insurance needed. It's about 10 PM Central time at at college typing it and no one else in the building, so have times changed since then? ... Read More:

I saw the movie when it came out in the mid 90's and after visiting Savannah this past summer & touring the Mercer house and then reading the book for the fist time, I just had to see it again. I remembered it as being better than I now rate it, but I also read the book before seeing it the second time & I found several things lacking or rushed when comparing it to the book. It is still a must see if you liked the book, but remember that a movie always cuts & changes some things that you just can't figure out why, like why is ... Read More:

I first saw this on VHS many years ago and was ready to see it again right away because I thought I'd missed the point. I've seen it many time since. It is dark and yet funny since almost everyone in it has some bizarre behavior at some point. The acting is top notch, though I wasn't crazy about the ending. I would at least see it once if you haven't already.

According to Montgomery Clift's biographer, Clift was set to play the role of Major Pemberton but ended up having a heart attack and dying before the filming could begin. Liz Taylor ... Read More:
