| Wow!!!! I just received it today and it's fantastic. It's been years since I've exercised and I really need to get back in shape. I'm 5'9 and BEFORE I had my baby I weighed 125 lbs and could wear anything I wanted. I now weigh 160 lbs (I recently lost 16 lbs) and my baby's 6 years old! | I recently purchased three videos with exercises aimed at getting one back into shape. The other two were Startin' Simple Easy Aerobics and Fabulous Forever with Mirabai Holland. This was one of the best of the three. I haven't exercised for three years, and I am recoveing from knee surgery. I found Denise Austin's Xtralite aerobics easy on my limbs and fairly easy to follow. | Just bought this old tape cheap and it's a hoot. It's so hokey, it's fun. Obviously, all the people in the group were supposed to make some positive comment in the course of the workout and some had a hard time doing it. There's ornery ol' Randy in the back, Jenay who comments on how comfortable the exercise balls are, Jody who just had the baby - you learn about all these people just by watching them interact so it makes it amusing while you're walking. | This was my first workout video I bought about 10 years ago when I was a slightly overweight teenager. It was difficult to follow. She often wouldn't tell you what move she was going to do next until she was already doing it. On one rep she would do a movement 2 or 3 times and the next time just do it once. She seemed to be making it up as she went along- you could almost see her thinking "hey, I should be doing something with my arms- maybe this!". | This is a great workout for a moderate exerciser. It is highly energizing with easy-to-learn moves, little repetition, and a great mix of high intensity bursts followed by low intensity recovery. It is a nice length- it doesn't leave one wanting for more or exhausted. One can also get what they want from it. If you're feeling like a light day you can do the moves without much intensity. | I've been doing the Firm for about 20 years. I own or have tried just about every workout they've ever put out. This volume is still, in my opinion, the all-time BEST overall tape. It KICKS BUTT aerobically AND with weights. No time is wasted. It's an hour long and when you finish (IF you finish) you feel like you have worked HARD. I have to admit I haven't done this tape in a while because if I haven't been working out consistently, this one is daunting! That's how good it is.
