| We have active twin boys and we can't stress how helpful the techniques were in The Happiest Toddler on the Block DVD; Dr. Karp has done it again! I can't say that I am perfect all the time, but I can say that when we do use the techniques and express to the boys that we truly and SINCERELY understand their feelings, they listen. Not only that, but they treat us and others with respect. Acting out/tantrums are definitely minimized too. |

| I bought this DVD because our child is raised in a bilingual home (English-French). The concept of a multilingual DVD is great but I did not expect the quality of the DVD to be that bad. The spelling of some words is wrong and the pronunciation too: it is not a native French speaker. I am looking forward to a DVD that would be multilingual but with higher standards. This is mediocre.
If your goal is to teach your child many languages, do not get this DVD. |

| I've been playing around with my guitar for some time, trying to teach myself how to play the thing since professional lessons are way more than I can afford right now. This little DVD was just what I needed to get me past the chording hurdle. Being able to play along with someone else is a big help. I would recommend this DVD as a good beginning to teaching yourself how to play. |

| My daughter is deaf and loves watching blue's clue, so I was some what disappointed with the limited signing. There was a small protion of consistent signing during story time, but that was a small segment.
I was expecting signing throughout the entire tape. |

| My toddler and I love the songs on this tape. But, I am troubled by some of the images. There are aardvarks in a small pen and chickens laying eggs on conveyer belt in some sort of factory farm. I realize that the tape is 15 years old, but other tapes of the same era have better images.
So, we switched to Sing Yourself Silly and Kids Favorite Songs. My daughter likes them just as well, but with better images. |

| I actually learned a lot from Shawn. Of course I don't think there's not a single guitar player who could play with Shawn precision, speed and dexterity, neither me for sure, anyway I learned some licks, but more than anything else, some concepts. I think this is the way you have to take these instructional videos from great musicians. You have to get some new concepts not only licks and tricks. | I used this video and the accompanying workbook to prepare for the CLEP "Introduction to Psychology" exam, and I found it to be a valuable preparation tool. While the tape doesn't cover every single concept covered in the CLEP exam, it does cover most of the important concepts covered in an introductory pychology course. While the presenters in the video probably shouldn't try for careers as stand-up comics, the humorous asides included in the video make it much less dry than the typical "talking heads" presentation.
