| This is the perhaps the best movie I have every seen. It is informative and yet it somehow will make the viewer laugh throughout. I saw it in a class and had to come home and buy it. All I can say now is that I want some Australian friends. |

| This is a typically well-produced National Geographic movie about the puma. The puma's an elusive animal, and filmmaker Hugh Miles has done an extraordinary job spending two years in Chile filming his subject. The filming is very good, the narration (by Mr Miles) is excellent, and the overall quality of the film is very good.

| I bought this set being a HUGE Bob Hope fan! I have been wanting to complete my road series and I couldn't resist when I came upon this box set. No this not the complete set but it does include some of the great trips that Bob and Bing took together. There is nothing like a Bob Hope and Bing Crosby movie and the picture is so clear. The restoration is amazing. I highly recommend this set to anyone looking for a good family movie to watch or to someone who just loves Bob Hope or Bing Crosby. These are classic movies ... | Upon seeing the restored and re-released film in 1981, I placed this silent at the top of my list of favorite foreign films from the silent era. The use of triptych, color, and daring camera angles is breathtaking! Gance was one of film's innovative pioneering geniuses. Although at times the acting is a bit stilted, the viewer must remember that these actors are turn-of-the-century schooled; today's acting style is far different and more relaxed. | Being an elementary art teacher, this video was more than superlative for the classes I have been teaching. This is the first version I've seen where Georgia is actually expressing the feelings and purpose of her own work. It was a treat for myself and the students to see Georgia in the video. The candid shots of her in her studio ahd homes was heartfelt and personal. I wish it had been longer too!! |

| This video is wonderful! You travel thru luscious rainforest to find amazing indigenous creatures that take your breath away. You learn all about their biology, behavior & conservation issues - all presented in such an entertaining & riveting way. I actually watched it twice back-to-back because it really is a great trip to another land that I wanted to re-live over & again! |

| Like the other reviewers, I found this documentary to be fascinating. If you are a Coppola fan, it's a can't miss. That said, I have a couple of caveats to the unconditional raves given by other reviewers: First, if you already have the VHS version, the DVD "extras" are pretty weak (of course, if you no longer have a VHS player, you may want to pick up a copy of the DVD anyway). The "Coda" is actually about Francis's recent film "Youth without Youth," not about looking back on the making of "Apocalypse, Now" from the present. A good ... Read More: |
