| I have been a reptile hobbyist for quite some time, and I found this video very insightful. It organizes the information very succinctly and neatly, and makes it all very understandable. And it continues the tradition of all "Eyewitness" videos by using sparse settings and graphics to tell the story of the reptile family. I think that anyone interested in reptiles will find this video interesting. "Eyewitness: Reptile" is about 30 minutes long. |

| I use the Cuban Missile Crisis to teach decison making in crisis situations and have read numerous accounts and watched a variety of videos/DVDs on the subject including the movie 13 Days and the recent excellent DVD The Fog of War (based on the reflections of Robert MacNamara). This hugely disappointing ''documentary" is certainly the worst thing I have seen on the subject. | A must see for anyone who was ever in a "ROCK" band and or who has been associated with bands for more than a couple of years!!!
This is "Behind The Music" before VH1 and MTV!!! Every facet of every scene was true of someone you may have known, which makes it even more hilarious as all the character's, confrontations, trial's and tribulation's all come together at once... here and now so to speak. | Buyer beware! The newer DVD set of this FABULOUS series is not up to the quality of this VHS edition. The DVDs are made by the History channel, and the sound quality is awful. This older VHS version, produced by New Line features (although on tape) has a much finer sound quality and even the video isn't that bad, compared to the lousey transfer of the DVDs.
These are still the finest chronicles of war footage AND narration that have been made of WWll, in my opinion. Try to get thru them without tearing up at the human ... Read More: |

| This film is superb. I've watched it over and over again. And it's every bit as good as GWTW. I'm sure that David Selznick taught his sons the art of film making and it's obvious. One will only be as good as his teacher. A must for every film buff.

| Purchased video to use as supplement for History Of Medicine class (4th grade). Was unhappy with the way things of a "mystical" nature were included in the material. I don't understand how the Producers could justify including information on Tarot Cards in the video. After all, we were looking for information on Skeleton's, not an introduction into foretunetelling. Also,I didn't care for the many references to man's "evolutionary" process from beast to man. | I watched this movie on tv, thought it was awesome, and ordered the vhs from amazon for $9.95. That was in October, it was backordered for FOUR MONTHS, and just recently amazon decided to cancel my order for me. The price now, just days after my order was cancelled, is $35.95!! This practice should be illegal, I think someone should be thrown in jail for this. |

| My son loves Henry the lizard and all of his antics. At the same time he picks up some of what the series is trying to tech him. He loves Henry sassy style and the way he and the narrator interact. It also indulges his love of animals and I don't have to worry about what gory nature scene might be coming up. |
