Michael Moore tends to be a bit skewed in his perspective, however, when there is enough evidence to support his skewed perspective it makes for a more frigthening picture. My having lived in Flint, MI for nine years may not have ever happened had I seen the movie before the move there because I may never have moved- too much of it is (still) true!

VHS : Adventures in the Kingdom of Swing
The only criticism I have of this is that it could have been three hours long with all the available material and surviving members of his bands... well, it's still a 5 star video for the fan of jazz. Benny Goodman is a legend and the DVD is a short but fitting tribute.

103.La Carrera Panamericana starring: David Gilmour, Nick Mason

VHS : La Carrera Panamericana
This is a documentary that Pink Floyd played the soundtrack to. It was recorded between A Momentary Lapse of Reason and The Division Bell. It covers the re-visiting in 1990 of the 1950's era road race - La Carrera Panamericana - which celebrated Mexico's opening of the Pan-American Expressway. Nick Mason and David Gilmour are two of the race team drivers. Follow the race from Guatamala to Neuevo Laredo and view the Mexican countryside listening to Pink Floyd. There are 6 new songs on here not heard on any other ... Read More:

I am a big fan of documentaries and I just love this one. I show it every year to my high school freshmen just before the Scripps National Bee. They moan and groan at first. (It is, after all, a documentary.) But by the end they have particular favorites--and we are all on the edge of our seats watching the final competition. Good stuff!!

106.The Greeks: Crucible of Civilization starring: Liam Neeson, Willy Bowman, Jeffery Dench, Vernon Dobtcheff, Bill Reimbold

VHS : The Greeks: Crucible of Civilization
Nicely done history, with all the major players clearly defined. Not that easy for ancient history. Very nice photography, and as far as I can tell, no factual inaccuracies. If you like history and know the period, you'll enjoy this one. If you don't know history, this one is a good choice to learn about the Greeks and the concepts we derive from them. A good show all around.

107.You Got Served - Take It to the Streets (Dance Instructional) starring: Kristi Crader, Omarion Grandberry, Robert Hoffman, Marques Houston, Christopher Jones

VHS : You Got Served - Take It to the Streets (Dance Instructional)
I liked the dances in this, though they weren't my favorite ones from the movie, and I Love Shane Sparks- though he was only in it about 5 minutes.
The dancers are great, the ONLY problem I had was it was a little hard. The moves weren't hard, but they only show you once or twice then move on, and then do it soooo fast. Some other tapes will have you repeat in segments so you can remember more. But you can always rewind and do them over.... But for the price, I have to say it was a great deal!

108.Nova - Lost Tribes of Israel starring: Nova

VHS : Nova - Lost Tribes of Israel
Really, a quite well-done documentary. I found it engaging from a theological, anthropological and (though not my strong suit) scientifically.

109.Joseph Campbell and the Power of Myth (6pc) starring: Joseph Campbell, Bill Moyers

VHS : Joseph Campbell and the Power of Myth (6pc)
The Power of Myth changed my way of looking at the world and showed me how people's beliefs can be, and has been, the most constructive yet destructive force in the history of humankind.
It is important for all to view this series, not just to learn about comparative religion and myth, but to see how the religious beliefs of today will become the myths of tomorrow.

S65 said, "A major dissapointment! Geared towarded adolescent boys with an intention span of moths! Unsuitable for small children. Panels rush by so fast one can bearly register what's on the screen. Boring an violent! (Contains at least two scenes of wild dogs killing smaller animals). Not looking on nature's gentle, funny side. My four-year-old daughter and I hated it! Don't waste your money!" But I STRONGLY dissagree! I have this video at home and enjoy it! It's not boring! I love animals and enjoy this! It does contain scenes with ... Read More:
