Let no one say that this Harold Robbins show biz potboiler doesn't begin with a bang: On the very day that Valley High student Pia Zadora wins an award as "most promising English major," she parties with fast Beverly Hills High students, one of whom --- weed-smoking Ray Liotta --- fondles her award and proclains its resemblance to a member of the male anatomy, fondles her breast ("Valley girls are anxious to please!"), throws her onto the lawn ("I'm gonna give you something special!"), and rapes ... VHS : Tron
"Tron" is one of Disney's singular live action achievements. Before the Matrix, before Dark City, Disney tackled virtual reality. One may chuckle at the primitive special effects now... but it still stands as a timeless classic. It's got a thrilling, suspenseful story,an interesting premise, good acting, and a cool techno score.

"Tron" is about a young video game designer,Flynn (Jeff Bridges,in computer geek slacker mode). His ideas have been pirated by the evil Dillinger (David Warner, enjoying it) Flynn has to regain ... Read More:

VHS : From Dusk Till Dawn
This movie contains a lot of violence and gore. However the acting and special effects are more like those of a comic book than a serious film. There is neither suspense nor horror in this movie.

I'm not certain if most criticizing this film so callously are simply a bit daft when it comes to the gist of British humor, but they seem to be missing the vital dynamic of the movie entirely. Think of any Austin Powers movie. Are they intended to be serious Hollywood musicals with deep meaning that exhibit an abundance of musical genius? Not at all...because Mike Myers KNOWS his British humor. Wayward plots involving any combination of 'spies', sexual innuendo and campy musical numbers where characters are prone to break into ... VHS : Multiple Maniacs
This is an early effort of John Waters'and is for serious colletors of his works. The movie is poorly made but still has elements of humorous shock value that we've all come to enjoy. The dialogue is often wordy and seems to go on endlessly, but Waters does have a tendency to use a thousand words when he could have used ten. But the film does have some humorous and shocking moments that we look for in his films.

50.Easy Rider starring: Luana Anders, Luke Askew, Robert Ball, Tita Colorado, Warren Finnerty

You can watch this movie on fast forward and not miss anything. This movie is WAY over-rated... It might have been great to some people in its day - but that is now almost 40 years ago. Anyone who hasn't seen it, dont waste your time. The longer time passes the worse this movie will get. I watched it because it was a "famous" movie but as many of the older famous movies are, they just are on a completely lower level than todays great movies.
