| I don't know why it took me so long to watch/purchase this movie. I am a Beatles freak and own every album and had seen Hard Day's Night, but until this reissue of Help! I just hadn't taken the time to check it out. But I have to say that I liked this movie MORE than Hard Day's Night. The gorgeous color and fun storyline were highly entertaining! | I have loved this movie since I first saw it in the 80s. It may not be the best acted but it has great heart and spectacular visuals. Orlando, Ruggero, Bradamante, Rinaldo and the others take their inspiration from the legends of Charlmagne and his knights and create a fairy tale of a movie to enjoy. I can't wait for it to come out on DVD as my VHS copy is starting to wear out. A movie to see if you enjoyed Legend, Ladyhawke, Labyrinth and the Princess Bride |

| Someone should have informed the makers of this movie that women do NOT enjoy being beaten unconscious, held prisoner, victimized. The ridiculous plot glorifies this disgusting behavior and it is sickening. Lame attempts at humor fail, rampant drug use is also portrayed and glorified. Is the audience actually to believe the woman would fall in love with her attacker and live happily ever after? The only thing they got right was rating it NC-17. NO minor should see this movie. | I just watched this movie for the first time and didn't see the Moore films as they came out, so my opinion isn't colored by nostalgia or affection for Roger Moore. In fact, I had only started watching the classic Bond films a few years ago.
I've always been a bit lukewarm to Moore's portrayal of 007 as he seemed a bit overly formal and stiff when compared to the graceful yet rugged qualities of Sean Connery and more recently, Daniel Craig. | I bought this VHS back in 2002 when VHS was still selling well. I was really impressed with my purchase. If you want every Manson Video from Portrait of American Family to Mechanical Animals then get this in any form you can. It is a shame this is out of print and MM's record company has neglected to release this on DVD and not make it limited edition with a Greatest Hits CD. I tried finding the CD and it is also out of print. My VHS hasn't been played much as it is. It seems like VHS has been killed off in the industry as a standard and alterative ... Read More: |
