| I love almost all of Miyazaki's works (with the exception of Porco Rosso), and Castle in the Sky is no different. Miyazaki's story-telling style tends to be rather slow-paced, which is fine, but I really enjoyed this movie for its faster, more energetic pacing. Almost immediately, the action starts, and it doesn't let up until the momentous climax.

| So, our "hero" Ash got lost on his ay to the 3rd gym.Doesn't really surpise me.. Anyway, after stumbling through a bunch of traps, he finds the Hidden Village (TM), a spa for abandoned pokemon. It's protected by a Bulbasaur since pokemon thieves would certainly like to catch all these injured pokemon. Of course Jessie and James show up, and Ash decides to help Bulbasaur to beat them. | This is certainly of the better action packed short anime series that I've seen. Great character design by Kenichi Sonoda, along with a lot of careful detail when it comes to weapon design. Lots of great gunfights, great 70s style soundtrack, and cool plot make this a great watch! Any fans of anime or 70s cop movies will get a lot of enjoyment out of this one, I know I did! | This anime is a very nice one that is pretty good for its time. The characters are easy to adapt to and some of the moments are very hilarious. The only thing I didnt really aprove of were the tanks. With a name like Tank Police, you'd expect there to be some really cool tank designs, but the action made up for it. The action is very intense and exciting. Seeing a tank jump on to the wing of a plane was so cool. I just wish U.S. Manga would put more thought into the subtitles.
