I don't see what the big deal about the subs are, sure it's flat and the recording was kinda awefull and there is virtualy no chemistry between the characters ..but the animation is great and it's unedited and with all the orignal footage from do you remember love, aside from the animation in the credits,it's still worthwhile because it is in english and full screen.
(:

VHS : Ninja Resurrection 2 (Dub)
Like pretty much everyone else, I rented this one years ago, thinking it was the ninja scroll sequel (which I loved). It's not.

It's a poorly animated "ova" that looks like the first 3 episodes to an aborted tv series. The story is very disjointed and not really tied up at the end.

The movie is extremely gory and uneccesarily so. I LOVE Berserk, so I'm not on the squeamish side of anime, but this borders on hentai. They kill kids and have an excessively graphic rape scene.

Princess Rouge is perfect for anyone who loves mystery, romance, and a sad ending.Though it is only two episodes long, it captured me within the first five minutes. The mysterious girl, Rouge, falls out of the sky landing on Yusuke,a high school student, and has no memory of who she is or where she comes from. All she remembers is her name. Being the nice guy he is, Yusuke decides to take care of her until she remembers who she is, but watch out, here come her two sisters to take her back. The mysteries of her past ... Read More:

Well the bad news is the "i have always loved you" crap saturates the 2nd season just as much as it did season 1. The good news is the action, suspense, magical powers, and compelling story line follows suit as well! This season is loaded with fights, action, death, love, loyalty, deception, and drama. This season flows even better because the story line was already established last season. We leave the book and take place in the real world. The animators even threw in existing buildings of major companies located in Japan ... Read More:

VHS : Dragon Ball Z: Cell Games - Nightmare's
This is the end of the Cell Games, and the death of Cell, who was probably the coolest villian of the series. There isn't any of the fighing that leads up to the showdown between Cell and Son Gohan. The first episode is where Cell and Son Gohan shoot off their Kamehameha's in a battle of strength, where Son Goku helps his son find his true power, while Piccolo, Kuririn, Ten, Yamucha, and eventually Vegeta all attack Cell. The next episode is where they all go home because Cell is dead, and Mr. Satan takes credit for Cell's death. The ... Read More:

I absolutely love this series! It had interesting characters, good plots, and awesome fights! I hate digging for these DVDs, though, so bring on a box set! Oh, and ditch the crappy Chaotic Century series.

In the early 90s, the most widely available anime titles were released stateside through Streamline Pictures, largely thanks to Carl Maceck, who had much to do with the Americanized version of Macross, Mospeada, and Southern Cross in the form of Robotech. If you weren't exposed to anime in the underground world of fansubs and comic cons, then along with Robotech, you probably saw Vampire Hunter D, Akira, and this little jewel. Of the aformentioned titles, it's the only one not on DVD in the USA.

That's a shame too, because ... Read More:
