| This movie is the ultimate existential road trip.
Although I wouldn't normally say this when describing how I feel about a film but I love the way the movie distances the characters from the audience. Dennis Wilson and James Taylor's lack of acting experience actually adds to the films atmosphere. As true existential characters, they are too focused on 'the road' to worry about anything else. | Cannot wait for this movie to be released in DVD format. My VHS tape arrived quickly and in good order. This is a great story about making ends meet and following your bliss. Richard Farnsworth plays a character that reminds me so of my own kin. |

| I saw 'Executive Action' when it first came out in 1973, and it has stuck with me all these years. It was gone from the theaters pretty fast, and I thought maybe it was "pulled" because of the truth it revealed. So when I stumbled upon it at Amazon, I almost jumped out of my chair.
The part that really stayed with me is at the end when words scroll up listing the odds put out by Lloyd's of London. It's like a trillion to one that all the real people involved in the murder of JFK would meet untimely deaths. It's shocking ... Read More: |

| I saw this when it was first shown on US television in about 1975 and was amazed by the storyline and the acting. I had seen Chamberlain in his TV series, but this film allowed him a vast range of emotions and exercises which the Tv show did not. I had not read the novel then, of course.
