What an amazing movie! this is on my top ten list and will be there forever. My mom is the one who first introduced this movie to me many years ago, and now we watch it over and over again. I never seem to get tired of it. The love between Shannon and Joseph is a love everyone in the world wants. There are so many laugh-out-loud scenes that are hard to forget. I work at a video store and I'm constantly recommending this movie to cutomers. I absolutely love it =)

I have loved this movie since I first saw it in the 80s. It may not be the best acted but it has great heart and spectacular visuals. Orlando, Ruggero, Bradamante, Rinaldo and the others take their inspiration from the legends of Charlmagne and his knights and create a fairy tale of a movie to enjoy. I can't wait for it to come out on DVD as my VHS copy is starting to wear out. A movie to see if you enjoyed Legend, Ladyhawke, Labyrinth and the Princess Bride

VHS : In Harm's Way
A classic match up of John Wayne, Kirk Douglas with a five star supporting cast. This, and the action a suspence of the early days of World War Two, make it unforgetable.

195.Ben Hur (1959) starring: Charlton Heston, Jack Hawkins, Stephen Boyd, Haya Harareet, Hugh Griffith

VHS : Ben Hur (1959)
The story of a prominent and wealthy Jewish family, whose feud with a Roman friend nearly destroys them. An extremely emotional story against the backdrop of the birth and crucifixion of Jesus Christ is one of the greatest epics ever filmed. The chariot race is one of the most impressive and longest action pieces I've ever seen! That sequence alone takes the film out of the realm of greatness into an outstanding piece of visual cinema!

196.Master and Commander - The Far Side of the World starring: Russell Crowe, Paul Bettany, Billy Boyd, James D'Arcy, Edward Woodall

VHS : Master and Commander - The Far Side of the World
Having read 14 of the 20 or so novels in Patrick O'Brien's series on the British navy during the Napoleonic wars, this film captures the heart of the stories, ie, the relationship between "lucky" Jack Aubrey and Dr Stephen Maturin. I've seen the original DVD (sans blu-ray) and loved it, both for picture and sound. But, the blu-ray version is beyond description. Intense color contrasts and crushing, almost overwhelming sound makes this one of the best adventure films you'll ever see. While the majority of the story follows ... Read More:

Its been a long time since I saw this movie but I was disappointed when Jo Don Baker was replaced by Bo Svensen. Also I would liketosee it released in DVD format.

VHS : San Francisco (1936)
This film is a blend of a romantic musical, a disaster movie and an old fashioned morality play. In some respects it is a replay of "The Dancing Lady",in which a talented Joan Crawford is rescued from her downtown burlesque dancing job to become the featured dancer in Gable's uptown musical extravaganza. In the present film, MacDonald, as Mary Blake, undergoes a similar transformation from singer in Gable's(Blackie) Barbary Coast night spot to an opera house owned and frequented by the Knob Hill elite. However, she feels obligated to sometimes return ... Read More:

VHS : The Sand Pebbles
The Sand Pebbles is a Steve McQueen vehicle, no doubt one of his best movies, but it is also the unacknowledged epic of the sixties, when the genre began to decline as a mere Hollywood spectacle and was becoming a more thoughtful, more complext adventure that took on momentous themes--like the emergence of China as an independent country and world power. Add Candice Bergen, at her freshest, Richard Attenborough emerging as a key figure in movies, and several Hollywood veterans, like Richard Crenna, and you have a mix that offers both entertainment and a ... VHS : Apocalypse Now
Alright, let me start off by saying that, although this dossier has a huge amount of lost footage, features, and pretty much everything but the kitchen seat, it is FAR from "complete". There was an exclusive 3-Disc version sold at Target which has seemingly disappeared off the face of the earth. I find it ironic they call the more common two-disc dossier the essential version, when it doesn't even have the trailers or the "Compound Explosion" scene, regardless of the fact that it has everything else. There's also a work print version flying around, and Francis ... Read More:
