| Welcome to my review. This particular version of the movie Assault on a Queen(VHS) is ample yet rare so if you see it cheap grab it before somebody else does to sell it on eBay. I take it you don't jump over tall buildings in a single bound or lay down with lions but if you do then this movie will still impress you I'm sure. | My mom bought me the movie after we finished reading Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH. I was really excited to watch it. When I did, I ended up bewildered and disappointed.
First, there were many things in the movie not even in the book. Also, I didn't understand why Nicodemus and the owl had spooky, yellow glowing eyes. They were very creepy. | If only this movie came on a normal Region coding i could watch it on my DVD player and not my laptop. This is one of Mamets great films only second to "Sparten." A must watch if you can find on normal DVD, but like the orginal "Blade Runner," you may never get it on DVD. later! |

The Mission is about the colonial time in South America and shows the treatment of indigenous people and human rights. | Any movie about pool players risks being compared with the two Paul Newman "fast Eddie"movies namely "The Hustler" and its sequel "The Color of Money", Temptation to make such comparisons with these movies when approaching this picture should be resisted because they were quite weighty affairs whereas The Baltimore Bullet is a lighter work entirely.
