| Could have been really good as a kids' movie, but contains some language that I don't want my little guys (elementary-school-aged) to hear.
(A bad guy says, "I'd/I'll kick your a--!" In another scene, a good guy says, "What the H--- . . . ?") |

| I saw 'Executive Action' when it first came out in 1973, and it has stuck with me all these years. It was gone from the theaters pretty fast, and I thought maybe it was "pulled" because of the truth it revealed. So when I stumbled upon it at Amazon, I almost jumped out of my chair.
The part that really stayed with me is at the end when words scroll up listing the odds put out by Lloyd's of London. It's like a trillion to one that all the real people involved in the murder of JFK would meet untimely deaths. ... Read More: |

| I had to write this only because at least two reviews here comment that this is "early Travolta."
Saturday Night Fever (1977) / Staying Alive (1983) (Double Feature), Grease (Rockin' Rydell Edition), and Welcome Back, Kotter - The Complete First Season, are early Travolta. He has been famous since the mid 70's and I'd hardly call this movie -- when John Travolta was almost 40 years old -- representative of his "early" work. | I still have this film on VHS. However,the DVD copy looks great on a High Definition screen and sounds great in surround sound. This movie still is fun to watch after all of these years. |

| Essentially, "I Come In Peace" (aka "Dark Angel") is a great idea that was only moderately well exectued. With the exception of appearing in a religious drama, this is probably the strangest vehicle for action hero Dolph Lundgren to get himself over, and to some degree, the Swedish Superman makes it work, but even along with the passing performances of the rest of the cast and a pretty original bad guy, "Peace" ends up being forgettable due to its uninspired pacing and overall lack of action.
