| I really enjoyed this movie cause it did show the Indian grayeagle a kind person. I loved it when each day she beth learned about who she is and not what she was lead to believe. I loved it cause it was a clean movie withno language what so ever. I wish they had more scences for each time they moved from one place and at the end a little longer with chief running wolf her father that she found out about. I hope for more movies like this one especially about the Indians |

| Cannot wait for this movie to be released in DVD format. My VHS tape arrived quickly and in good order. This is a great story about making ends meet and following your bliss. Richard Farnsworth plays a character that reminds me so of my own kin. |

| Well, it must be a good movie, since I never forgot what I have seen when I was 11. This movie was one of the first we got to watch in Bavaria, after the war. I am a little older now, but would like to see it again, mayby in the original, why not? Johannes. |

| This movie has a following, but as a Gary Cooper fan I don't think it's one of his best though good. I also have noticed the very high prices asked. In my experience on Amazon,if you don't purchase those very high priced ones they will come down. Cannery Row is an example. Not long ago I purchased a copy in poor shape for $25.71, now you can get a good one for around $16.00. When this gets down to a reasonable amount ,I will consider purchasing a copy. Maybe with luck it will be shown on TCM. |

| I prefer Selleck's newer westerns. Still the cast in this movie is a who's who for westerns. Ben Johnson stills the show. Glen Ford is as solid as ever. The "Sackett boys" make it look easy. This is now a classic movie from the master classic western writer. |

| Rooster Cogburn is a sequal to True Grit and in my opinion is the better of the two movies. One of the reasons is Kate Hepburn. This is a highly entertaining western where John Wayne and Ms Hepburn team up to capture the killers of Hepburn's father who have stolen a load of nitro glycerine to use in a bank robery. They are accompanied by a young Indian lad whose father was killed with Hepburn's father. This is a must-have for any John Wayne and/or Katharine Hepburn fan. |
