| This movie was made in the days before film-makers realized that people were sophisticated enough to recognize corn when they saw it. Horz Bucholz's impetuous kid act was just total corn. Talk about bad acting. Robert Vaughn deliberately affects some kind of bizarre weakling voice quality.

| I prefer Selleck's newer westerns. Still the cast in this movie is a who's who for westerns. Ben Johnson stills the show. Glen Ford is as solid as ever. The "Sackett boys" make it look easy. This is now a classic movie from the master classic western writer. |

| Another one of my favorite movies with John Wayne and the whole John Ford crew.
The scene where Ben Johnson, Harry Carey Jr., and Claude Jarman Jr. ride two Horses Roman style (that's standing on the two horse's backs) was actually done by them, not stuntmen! They just don't make them like that anymore. |

| In todays hustle and bustle world, it's nice to occasionally relax and watch an old fashioned western with real "good guys". This movie is fun entertainment for the whole family and even has a little singing with Dean Martin and Ricky Nelson. I'm so glad we still have movies like this available on disc. |
