| Last Of The Dog Men ranks right up there with Dreamkeeper for me. This is a beautiful film to look at.With a great story and musical score. Like a great book,it grabs you from the beginning and carries you through till the end. The acting by all,is superb,as well.
How it treats the issue of this last surviving tribe is especially respectful and satisfying. Once viewed,the scenery will never be forgotten. I don't believe anyone could be disappointed in this film. |

| This is indeed the very best film version of Robert Louis Stevenson's definitive pirate adventure ever made. Christian Bale plays the young Jim Hawkins and Charlton Heston is Long John Silver, and both are excellent. Add Christopher Lee as Blind Pew and the rest of a terrific cast including Oliver Reed, Clive Wood, and Julian Glover among the many actors that bring the story to life. | I loved this movie/mini series. I've watched it time and again. I've always wondered about the soundtrack..I just CANNOT find it anywhere. (There is a link on amazon music..waiting for the seller to respond if what he/she has is the real thing) If anyone knows where to get the soundtrack, pls do send me a mail.

| I caught this film many years ago on cable. I could've been around ten the first time that'd seen it or around that age. The begining of the film was really disturbing to me, but that really didn't stop in one place it kept happening throughout the film. It builds so well. The performances, to me are flawless, especially from the two leads, Wings Hauser and R. Lee Ermey. | "High Road to China" is a classic. It had a great cast and good directing. The movie had action, adventure, comedy, danger, romance, and history. Tom Selleck is at his best. Bess Armstrong gives a stellar performance; as do Jack Weston, Wilford Brimley, et al. As with his movies, T.S's presence on the silver screen, doesn't overpower the other actors/actresses. It is a crime against good films not to view it, let alone not to own it ! |

| I can't believe that this movie has never been released on DVD!!! Especially with all of the fame that Kim Cattrall got with her role in Sex and the City...I would think that it would have created more of a demand for the other things that she has acted in, but somehow this one seems to have been lost along the way somewhere! I first saw this movie on television many years back and later rented it on VHS. It left such an impact on me that I have been waiting and watching for it to come out on DVD ever since. ... | Please!!! Will someone please release this on DVD! I've been waiting for this forever and all I can find are cheap bootlegs that play but not well! If I had a VHS player I would buy this here but I don't so I won't. Props to the company for providing the VHS though! |
