| this first in the Veggie series was produced on an absolute shoe-string...copies were being made on an as-needed basis as orders came in, and the animation shows that. but! you can't go wrong with three great songs (God is bigger than the boogie-man, the water buffalo song, and oh no!) that stick in your head. you will find yourself singing them just as often as you catch your kids singing them.

| This video was a favorite of our 3 sons back in 1984! We had it for years...until our boys met a playmate who didn't know the Lord. They asked if they could give it to him (becuase he used to come to the house and ask to watch it all the time!) and so we did. Here we are, 2008, our 3 sons are now married with kids of their own, and "grandma" is here purchasing it once again...but for the grandkids now! :) What a joy! Your kids will love it too!

| My kids range in ages from 11 to 5 and although the 11 year old won't admit it, even he can't get enough of Veggie Tales.

| While the overall message of the video was very positive, I felt that there was too much weight put on good works. Overall, it gives the impression that there are routes to heaven besides accepting Christ as your personal savior.
Also, it was tricky to explain to my three-year-old daughter why the rabbit got crucified and what it meant when Luke poured a forty for his dead homey. |

| Although somewhat abstract and harder for young children to understand, "Lights", is an entertaining well done animated 28 minute synopsis of the meaning behind Hannukah. Narrated well, includes some very popular actors playing roles in the piece. Thank you for a well done short film. |
