| A lot has been said and do not wish to repeat it. In my mind this is by far the most complete and timeless of the Monty Python classics ... I personally love The Meaning of Life but it resonates mostly with those coming of age in the 70s and early 80s as many of the topics were current then (sex education, antiwar sentiment etc).
Life of Brian will never lose its appeal but it requires a copy with English subtitles even for native English speakers to catch all the brilliance. ... Read More: |

| In a nutshell.... This DVD is among the best I have seen regarding the quality of the video and audio. The 5.1 channel sound is very good, with clear definition of the voices. the video is absolutely stunning on my 42" plasma, with brilliant lighting and vibrant colors. Add to that is the filming on stage, showing the actual staging techniques while still allowing good close ups of the performers.

| The first time I saw this I was excited and found when viewing this film that not only do you get to see pink floyd displaying how extremely talented and creative they are, but get to see them as individuals struggling with the world around them, their relationships with each other and themselves. very cool rare footage of pink floyd during the recording of dark side the moon! They play live and oh man is it swweet! |

| This musical "The Music Man" Starring Robert Preston, Shirley Jones, Ron Howard & others has always been one of my all time favorite musical's. I have this VHS film of this movie, which i have had for a long time. It's a Great Musical, but do yourself a favor & buy it now on DVD & make sure you get the one on Widescreen. In my opinion, it makes all the difference in the world as far as Quality goes to be able to have it on Widescreen period. This is definitely true for the Classic Epic Film's. |

| The only problem I have with this DVD of "My Fair Lady" is that it is in letter-box format & it's too scrunched down for me to read the lips. Good thing I know the movie by heart PLUS it has "closed captioning". Other than that, my friend & I completely enjoyed the movie. It arrived SO QUICKLY & the price was SO affordable! I'll do all my Christmas shopping at Amazon! |
