| My grandmother first introduced me to this movie and I've owned a copy since it first came out on DVD. Based upon one of the best-written novels of all time, the film is outstanding in it's own right. | Overall, it is an excellent recording of one of the most outstanding American musical play. I will pass on the DVD to my grandchildren as a part of American cultural history of the twentieth century. |

| A great classic musical movie. I had a scratchy VHS tape of this and wanted to get a good, clear movie. Thank you for making it available at a reasonable price. The music in it is very, very good and the story is a great one. |

| The depth of this master piece is timeless for all generations to come. Compared to what we are having on the market today, most of them are cheap, superficial and rediculous, I recommand this movie to everyone; at least watch it once to experiece what real love and real life are. |

| I remember watching this movie everytime it came on TV (no DVD's/videos back then)! It's nice to share old school Disney with my kids. You even get a little history with the make believe. I STILL love this movie. |

| A film that hits just about every human emotion in the repertoire and
does so surprisingly well, although there is some overeagerness amongst the callow youth. The biggest surprise of all, however, is just how enchanting Clara Bow is as the very sexy girl next door. | I saw this black & white movie Canterville Ghost(1944) years ago. The cowardly ghost was funny. I was excited to find it on Amazon. The ghost tries to scare the guest instead they scare the cowardly ghost. Once again I enjoyed watching it but it wasn't as funny as I remembered. I also purchased the newer version in color of Canterville Ghost(1986)staring John Gielgud, Ted Wass, Andrea Marcovicci, and Alyssa Milano. This Canterville ghost wants the new owners out and is very mischief. We enjoyed both movies. |
