It's a great, but typical haunted house movie, even though not very interesting it was entertaining. The girl wasa very good and creepy addition to the downright eerie backing music/score. I believe the movie was very well done, and the location was right on. [the bad] Typically with movies like this, the bad acting is a given-- we have that. | I've always like movies about creatures in the water be it Jaws, Leviathan or even Deep Rising. The idea of a big monster coming out of the water is a bit more acceptable than a creature from outer space. Big alligator/crocodile movies have always been a personal favorite of mine. After all, gators and crocs are the closest things we got to dinosaurs, and they're pretty damn scary. The second reviewer down gives the best play by play of this film. | The beautiful colors, camera angles, and bloody effects are what kept me watching this movie. The actors in this have to be some of the most un-charismatic ever! it was fun to see them dispatched before they could say another word and put me to sleep! This is the english version and unfortunately the dubbing is not funny, something that would have helped the entertainment value.
