I PLACED AN ORDER FOR THIS DVD MOVIE ON August 2, 2008, BUT I WAS TOLD IT HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED BUT I WILL BE NOTIFIED AS SOON AS IT BEOMES AVAILABLE! I HOPE SO,THIS "BATMAN" IS A BETTER FILM COMPARED TO IT'S FOLLOW UP'S,EVEN THOUGH I DID ENJOY "BATMAN BEGINS" AND "THE DARK KNIGHT". HOPE IT BECOMES AVAILABLE ASAP OR VERY SOON,HEATH LEDGER MADE A DARK JOKER BUT I STILL ENJOY JACK NICHOLSON AS A FUNNY BUT EVIL JOKER.

VHS : Batman & Robin
In the original "Batman" & "Batman Returns," the storylines (or what shreds there were) were overwhelmed by the comic-book schtick left over from the wonderful 1960's "Batman" series. The schtick was fine for the series, but for the films...AUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. GOOD GRIEF! In "Batman Forever," Akiva Goldsman took over the screenwriting duties and the schtick was eliminated, giving way to a firmly grounded storyline. The same with its excellent follow-up "Batman & Robin" (which I ... Read More:

VHS : Batman - The Movie (Special Edition)
DO NOT get this for superlative acting or cinematic brilliance. It's just SO silly that it is priceless and highly enjoyable. The villains are a bit weak especially the Joker, but the Dynamic Duo are as camp and corny as ever. Could have been a little bit shorter. Otherwise classic silly entertainment - the shark and bomb scenes are so ridiculous they have to be seen to be believed. Hilarious!

5.Batman Returns starring: Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito, Michelle Pfeiffer, Christopher Walken, Michael Gough

This obviously Tim Burton movie shows that Batman is the best from the flashy effects, dark settings, and eye-captivating plot, puts Batman Returns on one of the best ... Read More:

VHS : The Saint: In London/Double Trouble
The Saint in London was a nice surprise for me. I enjoy these early light hearted detective movies and the Saint did not disappoint me. George Sanders looked the part of a sophisticated, but rugged hero. He is wealthy, but he easily engages people of every social status. The give and take with the female hero was much like the Thin Man series that I understand proceeded this film. The Saint, though, is not made for marriage for which he makes clear to his girlfriend. He is the stereotypic "Man's Man" and this is a classic Saturday afternoon ... Read More:

VHS : Batman Forever
Campy Batman can work with a good cast and right atmosphere, but here it mixes with dark Batsy and has a bad cast. (Except Jim Carrery.)

VHS : RoboCop 3
Robocop 3 wasn't nearly as unintentionally comical as I had hoped. Instead, it's pretty similar to the original Robocop, but with updated movie technics to make the picture and effects at least appear better, even though the storytelling is just as cheesy as it always was.

One thing that was very cheesy was the ending where Robocop finds an ability to fly. It was extremely funny watching him fly around the city taking out the bad guys.

The amount of action was pretty good, as far as enjoyment in that area is concerned. As for ... Read More:

VHS : Superman & Mole Men
Being 24 years old, I'm not a part of the baby boomer generation. I didn't see this film when it was brand new, but I am a fan of Superman. George Reeves plays the part of Clark Kent perfect, especially looking really good as Superman. The real stars of this movie are the little people who played the mole men. They never say anything in the movie, but a lot of expression is used and it is easy to feel sorry for them when they are treated wrong.

The story starts off a little slow, but eventually gains a lot of momentum and stays that way to the end. ... Read More:
