| It was only a matter of time, wasn't it? There were many Blaxploitation flicks being made at this time, most of them by AIP, and it was inevitable that the genre would cross paths with the horror genre. After all, AIP had most of it's success in the B horror films it produced.

| well this is a lot of fun the acting is not bad just simple it is a camp but Willaim Marshal does a good job as the Black Vampire Pam Grier is good also ther is not a lot of blood the picture quility is good no exstra,s just trailers just enjoy what it is good fun and entertainment. |

| If you are a fan of the Blaxploitation films of the 70's this is definitely a great movie for your collection. This film is not low-budget and has a great story line and plot. Although the main character being possessed by the spirit of a criminal from the 1930's who is seeking revenge is a little far fetched. Overall, this is a great movie with a great cast. |

| On a rainy day, I love to watch Cooley High and listen to the music of my generation. Times were hard, but they were simple. I get excited while trying to remember, what was I doing when that song came was out. Now, I can share Cooley High with my grand children and next generations! This is one of my best purchases! |

| I picked this up because I've always admired Pam Grier. For many years, even now one of the sexiest, most stunning women in films. This has always been my fav of her early films. Now that I own it I like it even better. The image and sound quality of the DVD are top-notch. Not blurred and scratchy like many films from the old American International library. | "foxtrap" (1986) is a good action thriller shot in los angeles and parts of europe. starring the king of blaxploitation fred williamson hired to find a missing girl in france. williamson also wrote, produced and directed one of his better later films. williamson probably the best-looking black actor, delivers another natural solid performance with his slick suites, cigar and charm. of course williamson has a steamy love scene with a lovely italian girl as well. christopher connelly also gives a fine performance as the bad guy. | This was a truly excellent movie, a gangster flick drawing heavily from the blaxploitation genre. Fred Williamson plays Tommy Gibbs, a young tough who works his way from shoeshine/mob messenger boy to crime boss. He uses the Italian mob and the corrupt cop who beat him severely as a teenager to gain a foothold and then turns the tables on all of them. None of it seems to matter, though, as he still can't satisfy the women in his life, no matter what he can give them. As his world begins to crumble around Tommy, the film builds to a stirring ... | Hell Up In Harlem is a sequel to Black Caesar. Black Caesar, clearly "inspired by" the classic gangster film, Little Caesar, showed the evolution of Tommy Gibbs (Fred Williamson) from errand boy for the mob to Black Godfather of Harlem. It was never in any danger of winning an Oscar, but it was a classic blaxploitation movie and well worth seeing.
