| I Remember when I saw the blaxploitation movie called Shaft and it was SOOO SLOW and BORING!! I was looking for a funny action packed black movies from the 70's!!! Then I saw Slaughter and guess what! My search was over!!

| This movie is my favorite blaxploitation flick of all time...the big problem is that the xenon versions of the movie are cut. There's some sleazy video store in the neighborhood that has the un-cut vhs version. I have no idea why xenon buys the rights then cuts up the film. |

| 'Am I Black enough for you?' That was the question the Right, Righteous, Reverend, Deke O'Malley asked of the people. I saw this when I was 14, in 1971 and have never forgotten it. Calvin Lockhart, Raymond St. Jacques, Godfrey Cambridge and the Drop-Dead Gorgeous...Judy Pace, made me sit in the State Theater and watch this at least 4 times running...right on my brother...Right On!!!

| Instead of giving props to the movie, which was marginal at best. I'll speak on the costume designer. Bravo for the clothes...they were "Out Of Sight!" Also, Priest's car was the sickest car I've ever seen in my life...I want one. |

| Despite the rediculously inaccurate box-art, this is an excellent, excellent party film. The title "In Your Face" exists only on the box and video itself, for when you pop it into the VCR you are immediately greeted with the true title, "ABAR". Grin with glee as our hero, ABAR, sticks it to the suckas who are trying to run a black doctor out of a white neighborhood. | I saw this movie the one and only time when I was eight in the theatre and I remember the entire black audience roaring through the whole thing. I didn't know what was better, Black Belt Jones, Enter the Dragon, or Three the Hard Way. But I do know I loved them all. I'm now 39 and I've seen Three'' and Enter'' a couple of times over the years but I could not find Black Belt Jones anywhere to save my life. | I was lucky, or unlucky, enough to see this movie Fri. night 3/21/08 on the TCM channel. This is what you get when you can't sleep. By the way, it was followed by Penitentiary, but I digress. This movie hooked me like a roadside fatality car accident, I didn't want to look, but I couldn't look away. The acting was awful, but the story was interesting; it showed the lengths a sister would go to for her man, when she ain't got nothing to lose and she is from "Sippi" or Mississippi for the unhip.
