| O.K. Anyone that knows of Russ Myers work (faster, kill, etc) this is a great flick, Well, we know Russ was a Breast man. And the openess of the late 60's & 70's shows in his films. Bad effects, bad acting, and cheesey plots to get people naked. "pizza Delivery" "Did someone call for a Plumber to clean her pipes?" LOL.
Just roll with it,. Show your 17+ year old what we call pornographic for the time,. If you can find a copy in BETA, and a player, like I saw it in '74 or sometime.. |

| In my opinion, this is the worst movie ever made. Plan 9 From Outer Space is like Lawrence Of Arabia compared to Glen or Glenda. I gave it 2 stars because Bela Lugosi's parts are funny. Starts with Bela in a laboratory making some ridiculous Ed Wood speech containing classic quotes as "MAN IS WRONG BECAUSE HE DOES RIGHT. RIGHT BECAUSE HE DOES WRONG! PULL DA STRINGS!" | I just wanted to mention the fact that this is unquestionably the worst film they've ever done on MST3K. There are a few movies that are technically even more incompetent, but this one is just... so.... boring. (The only one that can compare to it is 'Monster A-Go-Go'.) They dance and dance and dance and dance and dance and dance and dance. And oh the voice over. The heartless, anemic voice over designed to replace the lost soundtrack. Uhhhhh. The episode itself is pretty good, though. |

| The music is fantastic, the plot (after 20+ viewings) is still, to use the words of Richard O'Brien "Muddled...confused." I can't even begin to describe it to people. I heard in an interview with Patricia Quinn that one day during filming, Barry Humphries asked her "Pat? Do you know what this is about?" "No," she replied. That about sums this movie up, but it's good anyway.
